Tell us which home and layout you'd like, your town and how you'll use it. We send you a written quotation to your site.
We draw the plan the way you want it. Once you approve the design, you pay a 50% deposit.
Your home is built in our factory and shipped folded in a container to the nearest port. Allow about 2–3 months from order.
You pay the balance before delivery. A truck with a crane brings the home to your site; we unfold it and connect it in about a day.
GOOD TO KNOW
Also known as a foldable, folding or expandable container house: a finished prefab home that travels folded and opens up on site.
An expandable home is made to shipping-container dimensions, so it travels folded about 2.2 m wide. On site the side sections unfold to roughly three times that width, giving a 20 ft home 6.3 × 5.9 m and a 40 ft home about 75 m² of insulated living space, with windows, doors, a bathroom and a kitchen already fitted.
Electrical wiring and plumbing come pre-installed, so installation means placing the home on its base, unfolding it and connecting it to your electricity, water and sewage points. And because it folds back up, the home can be moved to another site later.
We ship from the factory to the nearest port for Namibia, Mozambique, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi, then bring the home to your site by road. Shipping, transport and installation are quoted for your location. You can view our display homes in Hout Bay, Cape Town, by appointment.

The unfurnished 20 ft home is US$25,000 and the 40 ft home is US$39,000 in any layout. Shipping to your nearest port, transport to your site, installation and your country's import duties and taxes are quoted for your location.

No concrete foundation is needed, only a level base that supports the whole home: a slab, support pillars, stilts or bricks all work.
Yes. The home folds back up, goes onto a truck and can be set up again somewhere else.
The walls and roof are insulated panels, and the home is built for cold down to -30°C. In very hot areas (40°C and above) we recommend adding an air conditioner.
